4 Days & 3 Nights Edmonton Mini Trip|Super Fun & Chill ✈️
Day 1️⃣ Just landed and checked into Baymont by Wyndham West Edmonton—super convenient, just a short walk to ⭐ West Edmonton Mall! This mall is HUGE! Caught a few hockey games, then rushed to ⭐ World Waterpark with my swimsuit. • Single-entry ticket ~$60, or $169 for a 2-day pass (includes waterpark, amusement park, aquarium, mirror maze, sea lion show, mini golf, bowling, ice rink, pirate ship). • Indoor waterpark stays at a cozy 31°C—no worries about the cold! • Tons of thrilling slides + a massive wave pool! Rented a tube for $10 to float around, but be careful—some waves are crazy! Dinner at 🍖 Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse ($69 all-you-can-eat)—endless grilled meats + sides. The roasted pineapple was unreal—couldn’t stop eating! Day 2️⃣ More West Mall Fun! Hotel breakfast ➝ more adventures! Tried ⭐ Drive Indoor Karting ($30/person)—multi-level tracks, so fast and exciting! At 2 PM, watched the ⭐ Sea Lion’s Rock show (free!). Super cute performance, even spotted some penguins! *Tip: For the best view, head to the 2nd-floor glass walkway!* Lunch at 🍖 Vietnamese Fusion—decent but not the best value. Bonus: Alberta’s tax is only 5%—shopping here is a steal! Switched hotels to 🏢 Royal Hotel West Edmonton—a bit dated but budget-friendly. Day 3️⃣ Downtown Leisurely Exploration After breakfast, took a 30-min taxi downtown and checked into 🏢 Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel by APA—the fanciest stay this trip! • 21st-floor city views = pure bliss. • Hotel has a pool + hot tub. Nearby Japanese massage spot was heavenly (though not insurance-covered). Then, downtown walking tour: • ⭐ Edmonton City Centre Mall: Tiny + quiet—skip it. • ⭐ Art Gallery of Alberta: Ultra-stylish modern art ($10 entry)—perfect for photos! • ⭐ Royal Alberta Museum: Passed by (closed soon). • ⭐ Chinatown: A short strip but with cheap eats! Grabbed snacks at Lucky 88 Supermarket. • ⭐ Jasper Avenue: Not much open, but a quick stroll. • ⭐ Riverfront near Edmonton Convention Centre: Great skyline shots! Also drove to ⭐ Alberta Legislature Building—gorgeous architecture, so photogenic! Day 4️⃣ Flight in the afternoon, but made sure to hit 🍖 Rayyan Restaurant (East African cuisine in Chinatown) for brunch. • Ordered lamb shoulder, chicken steak, and chapati. • Free curry soup + the owner gifted us lamb stew! • Portions are massive—one dish could feed two. Under $50 for everything—unbeatable value! #Edmonton #Travel #Canada
