⛰️ Mount Maunganui Adventure 📍 Parking Tip: The Pilot Quay Parking is tiny—better to stay at a beachfront hotel and walk straight to the trailheads! 🌊 Base Track (3.4km / 45min): Easy & scenic—perfect for seniors or relaxed strolls. Ocean on one side, mountain on the other 🌊🏔️ ⛰️ Summit Tracks (Waikorire/Oruahine): 40min hike (some steep steps—check trail signs for difficulty!). Worth every puff—360° views of Tauranga’s coastline! 🌅 🥧 Patrick’s Pies (Overhyped?) Tried the award-winning roast duck pie… but meh.
