5 Things You're Not Allowed to Miss Out On
South Africa: A Land of Breathtaking Natural Beauty ๐ธ From the hot semi-deserts of the Karoo and Kalahari to the misty highlands of the Drakensberg Mountains and the magnificent Blyde River Canyon, South Africa offers a diverse range of stunning landscapes. Cape Town also boasts two of the world's most spectacular coastal drives leading to the Cape of Good Hope and Hermanus. Here are five must-do activities in South Africa. Save this list and get ready to explore! ๐น Whale Watching in Hermanus Hermanus is known as one of the world's best whale-watching towns (whale season is from August to November). Here, you might hear cheers while having a meal. Following the direction of the pointing fingers, you can see humpback whales breaching. Their dramatic "leaps and plunges" are simply amazing! You can also go shark cage diving to get up close and personal with these ocean giants. These are the marine counterparts of the African Big Five. ๐น Cape Town: Atlantic Helicopter Tour Arrive at the V&A Waterfront helipad about 15 to 20 minutes before your scheduled shared helicopter flight over the city and coastline. Board the helicopter and begin your adventure: circle Table Mountain, fly over the city to visit the Cape Town Stadium, one of the venues for the 2010 World Cup. Then, travel along the Atlantic coast, passing Signal Hill, Camps Bay, and Clifton Beach. Get a bird's-eye view of the luxurious residences and marvel at the Twelve Apostles mountain range. You can also listen to the pilot's informative commentary. ๐น Wine Route South African wines are on par with those from France. The country has the oldest wine industry outside of Europe, with so many wineries that you could visit a different one every day for three months! You can take a vintage train or horseback ride through the vineyards to sample the wines. ๐น Table Mountain Adventure One of the world's seven natural wonders, Table Mountain is a continuous mountain range stretching to the Cape Peninsula. In addition to the main flat-topped peak at about 1,087 meters, there are two smaller peaks in the city known as Lion's Head and Signal Hill. From the city and harbor, Table Mountain looks like a long, flat table. From the other side of Signal Hill, it appears as a range of peaks known as the "Twelve Apostles." Of course, taking the 360-degree rotating cable car up and down Table Mountain will give you a unique experience. ๐น Seafood Delights Affordable! Affordable! Affordable! After watching the sunset, you can find bustling seafood restaurants everywhere. There is a wide variety of oysters, with different sizes and selections that are incredibly plump. Enjoy the fresh fish with a glass of white wine for a perfect meal. #RomanticLifeRecorder #TravelAbroad #InternationalTravel #SouthAfrica #TravelTips #Travel #HiddenTravelDestinations #TravelTips #Foodie #TravelSnapshots #TravelWithLittleRedBook #AfricanTravel #AfricanTravelTips #EverySecondIsWorthRecording #HiddenGems #DiscoverAfrica
