7.5 Hours to Warren Buffett‘s House in Omaha 🚗🌽

We set off from Indiana and drove through the flat, open landscapes of Illinois, crossed the mighty Mississippi River, and entered the cornfield-covered plains of Iowa 🌽🌾. After crossing the Missouri River, we finally arrived at our destination: Omaha, Nebraska! We stayed at a hotel near the University of Nebraska 🏫, just a 7-minute drive from Warren Buffett’s house 🏠. The area felt peaceful and livable, with plenty of green spaces and a relaxed vibe. Later, we explored Downtown Old Market, which was filled with diverse restaurants and unique vintage shops 🛍️🍽️. However, due to the Fourth of July holiday, many places were closed 🎆🇺🇸. Still, we could sense the neighborhood’s charm and its efforts to reinvent itself—a refreshing contrast to more declining Midwestern cities like Cleveland. Omaha feels quietly vibrant, peaceful, and chill 💚. We ended the day with a meal at New Gold Mountain, a Chinese restaurant near our hotel. The food was delicious, affordable, and the portions were huge! 🥡👍 #Omaha #MidwestUSA #WarrenBuffett #ChineseFoodInOmaha #RoadTrip #Nebraska
