8 Days & 7 Nights in Hawaii 🌺 – Itinerary Share

Day 1️⃣ 💫 Waikīkī Beach 🏝️ + Shopping Took the bus from the airport to Waikīkī (~1 hour). Tip: Exact fare only ($3), no change given! Carried a 28-inch suitcase—driver didn’t say a word. 😎 Day 2️⃣ 💫 Laniakea Beach (Turtle Beach) Saw 4 sea turtles! 🐢 Way fewer people than Waikīkī—great for swimming & snorkeling. 🤿 Day 3️⃣ 💫 Small Boat Harbor Haleiwa – Shark Tour 🦈 Meant to book a shark cage dive, but my friend accidentally got the no-cage, no-rope tour! 😱 Result? Absolutely EPIC. Strong swimmers: Swim freely with sharks. Others: Hold onto a float board. Sharks came super close—super clear views! Photo hack: Dive underwater with the float board for cool shots! 📸 💫 Haleiwa Beach – Also gorgeous! ⭐ Pro Tip: Days 2 & 3 are close together—could combine to save on rideshare costs! 💫 Chinatown Arrived at 3:30 PM—everything was closed. 😭 Sketchy vibe: Lots of homeless people (still gives me chills). Go early! Markets open at 5-6 AM (bustling & lively). Bonus: Found fresh coconuts, longan, and sapodilla—so sweet! 👏 Day 4️⃣ 💫 Hotel Pool � Finally remembered our hotel had a pool on Day 4. 😂 💫 Kualoa Ranch Wanted to horseback ride, but booked out (⚠️ Book early!). Arrived 3 mins late (thanks to traffic). Staff said we could join the next group, but the manager refused. Had to buy tickets twice. 💸 💫 Lanikai Beach (Obama’s favorite!) Stunning sunset, powder-soft sand. Warning: Hard to get a rideshare back! Dinner at Obama’s recommended spot—tried his fave BBQ ribs. 🍖 Day 5️⃣ ✈️ Oʻahu → Big Island (Hawaiʻi Island) 💫 Mauna Kea Summit – Sunset & Stargazing Life-changing experience! 🌌 "Night of my life"—saw the sea of clouds, epic stars, and took "photo of a lifetime". Guides were amazing—taught us astronomy + great at photos! Day 6️⃣ 💫 Volcanoes National Park (no lava eruption) 💫 Punaluʻu Black Sand Beach 💫 Rainbow Falls (no rainbow, just a normal waterfall) 💫 Macadamia Nut Factory Day 7️⃣ 💫 Akaka Falls (lush rainforest waterfall) 💫 Farmers Market – Best tropical fruits! Vendor had durian but said, "Not for sale—it’s for me!" 😂 💫 Lava Tree State Park 💫 Big Island’s East Coast Scenic Drive Breathtaking views! Passed a clothing-optional beach (didn’t stop). ✈️ Big Island → Oʻahu Day 8️⃣ 🛍️ Airport shopping → Flew back to Tokyo. 👭 Friend’s mission: "Round 2 at Chinatown!" ✈️ #TravelTheWorld #ItineraryShare #Hawaii
