9/10 | A Must-Visit Bakery in South Philadelphia

Located in the Bok Building, Machine Shop is filled with elements perfect for checking in at every corner. I particularly recommend their lemon tart. This time, I also tried the blueberry tart and Canele, both of which were great. ☺️ Food: 9/10 Creativity: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Ambience: 10/10 🧀Machine Shop has offered a variety of baked goods that I've indulged in, including kougign amann, canelés, two types of tarts, croissants, and polenta bread... Oh my, how did I eat so much? There were no duds, although the polenta bread inside is spicy (with jalapeño). 🧀Two persons at Machine Shop often carry passengers, and although I'm not a fan anymore, they occasionally feature bakers like Barcelona's Nomad and Norway's Tim Wendelboe, offering new surprises every visit. 🥺🥺 🧀 Jammy Egg + hot pepper stew + feta | I was purely attracted by the runny egg on top. It perfectly balances the sweetness of the pear tart, with a thin crispy shell on top of the runny egg. I just love runny eggs so much! 😋 #FoodCheckIn #EatAndDrink #GlobalFoodAndDrinkSquad #USATravel #PhiladelphiaLife #PhiladelphiaShopExploration
