Just got back from Dubai and realized it’s different from what I imagined. The Dubai Metro can get crowded – if you want to avoid the rush, try traveling off-peak or book a ticket in the Gold Class cabin. 🚄✨ A lot of travel guides say attractions are far from metro stations – but guess what? You can easily transfer to a bus right after getting off the metro! 🚌 Although bus waits can sometimes be long, trust me – walking under 40°C heat is way worse 😅. Waiting in an air-conditioned metro station beats sweating outside. If you’re in a hurry, just take a taxi. 📍 Attraction Transport Guide: 【Al Seef Historic District】 ✅ Take a 2 AED water taxi 🚤 through the old town (check my previous post for the Abra guide!). Best time for photos: around with that golden Arabic vibe 🌆. 【Dubai Frame】 🚉 Metro Red Line → Al Jafiliya Station 🔁 Transfer to tourist bus F09 → drops you right at the main entrance 🖼️. You can take photos outside or buy tickets to go in. 🔁 Or take Bus 27 → Zabeel Park stop (hidden photo spot!) – perfect for shots that make it look like you’re inside the giant frame 📸. 【Museum of the Future】 🚉 Metro Red Line → Emirates Towers Station → indoor air-conditioned walkway takes you straight inside! Feels like stepping into the future 🚀. 【Dubai Mall】 🚉 Metro Red Line → Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Station → take bus F13 🚌 or walk 20 mins through indoor pathways. ⚠️ The famous fountain is under maintenance – old photo spot is closed! ⭕️ Plan B: Head to the Apple Store terrace – you can get a full shot of the Burj Khalifa 📱🗼. 🐠 Don’t miss the free viewing points of the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo – the 8.3m tall tank is breathtaking 🐟✨. 🛍️ Check out the indoor waterfall and the “flying” diver sculpture! 🥡 Highly recommend visiting Chinatown – beautiful, great Chinese food, and relatively affordable. 【Day to Day Market】 🚉 Metro Red Line → ONPASSIVE Station → more like a local bazaar than a supermarket. Great for affordable souvenirs 🛍️. 【Palm Jumeirah】 🚉 Metro → transfer to Palm Monorail (see previous posts for details) 🌊 Definitely book Skypool breakfast in advance – way cheaper than the observation deck with epic aerial views of the Palm! 🍳🌴 #DubaiBudgetTravel #HiddenSpots #DubaiGuide #UAESoloTravel #TravelHacks #TravelTheWorld #WeekendGetaway 🌍✈️
