A bowl of beef noodles with 13 cuts
A big bowl of braised beef noodles is only $13! The beef is stewed until it’s fall-off-the-bone tender, and there’s a generous helping of baby bok choy. You can choose the thickness and width of the noodles—I think the original style is already perfect. 😋 I also love their cold shredded potatoes. I wonder if any of you have had Li Shi Xian beef noodles back in China? It’s a childhood memory of mine: a bowl of beef noodles with a plate of cold shredded potatoes. Every time I miss home, having a bowl here makes me feel all cozy and settled 😌 Another plus: even though it’s cheap, it’s not one of those grimy, sticky-floored hole-in-the-wall spots. The decor is actually quite stylish—probably a relatively new shop. ✨ I love sitting in that corner by the window; it’s almost become my regular spot. There are a couple of potted plants there, and slurping down a bowl of noodles feels so nice. When I’m extra hungry, I add a plate of dumplings 🥟—their cabbage dumplings are delicious, certified by this northerner! The skins are thin, the fillings are plump, and they’re juicy when you bite into them. The dumpling vinegar is just the right saltiness, too. Okay, that’s today’s share—if you liked it, don’t forget to leave a ❤️❤️!
