A Casual Day Trip to Cold Spring(1)
When I first arrived, I thought this small town in upstate New York with a population of less than 2000 people wasn't that great: most of the shops didn't have any special charm, the food and drink were just average, there were only two public restrooms in town, and if you wanted to go hiking, you had to walk a long way from the train station. πΈπ But surprisingly, when I looked at the photos later, they turned out quite nice! Because of the name Cold Spring, I wanted to add a Dramatic Cool filter to these photos, giving them an exaggerated sense of cool elegance! π Transportation and Parking: If you're driving, the scenery along the route from Bear Mountain Bridge to Cold Spring is quite beautiful. πΈπYou can park your car in the parking lot behind the train station. Follow the town's signs to Lunn Terrace. Parking is free on weekends. If you plan to go hiking, I recommend parking at the trailhead parking lot, otherwise, it's still a long walk. πΈπ #NewYork ππ
