Interesting restaurant in a setting that is a little "different". This place is right next to the railroad tracks and sitting outside ... every few minutes one begins to hear rumbling that gets louder and louder until a train comes zooming by when one must stop their conversations for a few seconds ... but very quaint and enjoyable.

My friend and I shared a pretzel for appetizer and I then had the Tagliatelle Pasta with Shrimp and Chorizo while my friend had a burger.

The food was ok, although the shrimp in my pasta tasted frozen not fresh. Sauce was excellent. The pretzel (which is advertised to be "Everything Spiced") was not spicy but was fine.

Our server, Julia, was really really excellent. Came back multiple times to check on us and was really very nice.

However, we did have one "glitch" worth reporting. The kitchen was apparently backed up and the appetizer took a really long time to come out. We became concerned and told our server that we wanted to make sure that it didn't come out together with the main courses. A few minutes later, a "runner" came out from the kitchen to drop off the pretzel and said (and I quote) "The food comes out when it comes out, guys!" in a very cold and forceful manner and then walked away.

He left both of us with our jaws dropped. We were so shocked that we frankly didn't even respond to him. I have never been spoken to like that in any restaurant I have ever been in. We did report this to the manager on the way out, telling him that we understand especially in today's world, finding good help is difficult. But a remark like that is inexcusable coming from a restaurant employee.

So while I might have given the place four stars, I had to knock down the rating to three due to this. Still, the food is decent and is...

I got here 5 minutes early and I wasn’t aware of it. The drive from where I was said I would arrive when they opened. When I got here, the gate was unlocked, there was no sign that said “closed,” and there was music playing. There was no one around, so I walked in and found a few people who looked like they worked here. I asked if they were open and they said they were not yet, that they opened in 5 minutes. I asked if they would mind if I sat and waited until they opened (as I have been working to exhaustion and just needed to sit) and they said, “no” as they were still setting up.

I looked around. Everything seemed pretty set up to me. It was five minutes to opening. There was no one around, and no one who I would be in the way of. So I said, “Really? There’s no one here. I can’t sit down?”

There were tons of tables. It was five minutes to opening.

A fellow came out and was not nice about it AT ALL.

He said, “You let myself into a closed restaurant,” accusing me as if I did something wrong.

What?

The restaurant has a huge patio. There was music playing as if they were open. The gate was unlocked. There was no closed sign to be found.

There is no need to rude. None. He could’ve said, “I’m so sorry, we just need a little time to get organized would you mind waiting?” Or something pleasant. But accusing me of breaking in… I just … it’s just beyond me.

I won’t be back and I don’t recommend it, as the guy who spoke to me said he was the manager when I said I would talk to the manager!

So I hope the owner reads this.

I also overheard another wait staff complaining about a customer.

Seriously.

I NEVER write reviews. EVER. But I cannot abide rudeness or accusations. It’s absolutely...

Nestled in the cozy town of Cold Spring is a hidden gem of a restaurant that truly knows how to tantalize your taste buds , each dish is a culinary delight that will have you coming back for more.

Let's start with the star of the show - the Spicy Blue Cheese Burger. Picture this: a juicy grilled beef patty topped with tangy blue cheese crumbles, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and a tantalizing spicy sauce that perfectly balances heat and flavor. Each bite is a harmonious explosion of taste that will leave you craving just one more bite.

Next up, we have the must-try Fried Chicken Sandwich. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, this sandwich is a true comfort food masterpiece. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection, then sandwiched between two toasted buns with a generous slather of mayo, crunchy lettuce, and zesty pickles. It's a sandwich that hits all the right notes and will have you planning your next visit before you've even finished your meal.

And let's not forget the Pull-Apart Garlic Bread - a seemingly simple dish elevated to gourmet status. Imagine warm, buttery bread infused with garlic, herbs, and a hint of Parmesan cheese.
