A charming ancient cave restaurant tucked away in a narrow alley
😊Push open the weathered wooden door of Buca Lapi, and you're greeted by a sense of ancient history. Under the brick-vaulted ceiling, the walls are adorned with historical posters dating back to 1882. The signature steak is an absolute must-try. We were already too full for dessert, but when the owner brought out the family-recipe dark chocolate cake, it suddenly felt like the restaurant's pride and joy was being served right in front of us. Buca Lapi, Via del Trebbio 1, Firenze ❤️ Located in the alley opposite the luxury street and the church. (Reservations can be made by phone, specifying the number of guests, time, and name. English is also accepted.) 🔥 Must-try dishes: - Signature T-bone steak (grilled, best shared among 3 or more people) - Served with roasted potatoes, beef pasta, braised tripe, and roasted rabbit - Dark chocolate cake (exclusive recipe, truly melt-in-your-mouth) The vintage cellar vibe is perfect for photos! I recommend wearing something in a burgundy color scheme. Some restaurants exist to turn back time and intoxicate the soul. There's no mobile signal or WiFi inside, so if you're traveling, make sure to save this spot and book in advance by phone or through their website.✨ #ItalyTravel #FlorenceTravel #FlorenceFood #TuscanNight #HealedBySteak #FlorenceFoodRecommendation #ItalianCuisine #HiddenGemRestaurant #BucaLapi
