A Charming Boutique Gem of a Hotel 💎

I spent a long time researching different hotels and reading reviews for our vacation. After narrowing down my list, I felt a bit nervous about the final choice—but ultimately decided on the Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel, and I’m so glad I did! There’s no indoor lobby, but the staff office is right next to the elevator with a large open sliding window for check-in or anything else you might need 🪟😊. The elevators are fast, and next to the office is a restaurant serving delicious breakfast and lunch—if you mention you’re staying at the hotel (and show your key), you get 10% off 🍳🧾. We booked an Oceanfront Deluxe Room with 2 double beds on the 12th floor (Room #04), and the view was absolutely breathtaking 🌊🌅. From previous reviews, I learned that rooms ending in 03, 04, or 05 have the best oceanfront views—and that’s absolutely true if you want a full, unobstructed sea view! The room had a mini-fridge (no microwave), but there’s a shared microwave on the ground floor near the elevator 🧊➡️🥘. It was kept clean, and there’s also a filtered water station, so you don’t have to constantly buy bottled water 💧🌍. The bathroom was small (shower only), but the room was clean and stocked with plenty of towels 🧴🧼. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, soap, and a hairdryer. The TV was a good size, and they deliver a free newspaper to your door each morning 📰🗞️. When we requested an iron, they brought both an iron and an ironing board promptly. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. If you want to fall asleep to the sound of the waves 🌊😴, just turn off the AC and open the balcony door—it’s incredibly soothing and magical! Sunsets and sunrises were gorgeous, and the beach is right across the street 🏖️. Shops and a variety of restaurants are everywhere, just steps away! ABC Stores are on every corner 🛒🍽️. You’re literally right next to everything! We didn’t rent a car—it wasn’t necessary since we booked a tour shuttle to see the island 🚐🌴. Tour booking stations and storefronts are also within walking distance. We used Lyft from the airport to the hotel and back to HNL—quick and easy 🚗✈️. Near the staff office and elevator, we saw photos of the hotel owners and their family and read the moving history of this lovely hotel ❤️📸. On our departure morning, while it was still dark, the nearly full moon shimmering over the ocean was incredibly beautiful 🌕💫. At the end of our stay, Manager Kevin Wong reached out via text to thank us for staying. My reply was simple: “I will definitely stay here again when I return to Hawaiʻi.” My daughter and I truly loved staying here.
