A Chill Day Trip to Oxford

Finally a sunny day! ☀️ Took the train from Bristol—just 1.5 hours 🚉 🪄 Time for a muggle to soak up some academic vibes~ ➡️ Lunch right after arriving: 🍜 Three Thousand Restaurant (OX1 2DU) – tried the steak ramen. Not bad! 👍 ➡️ First stop: 🌉 The Bridge of Sighs – quick iconic photo! ➡️ Strolled to: 📚 Radcliffe Camera – not open to the public, but great for tourist pics 📸 ➡️ Pre-booked for 2:30 PM: 🏰 Christ Church – Harry Potter filming location! The Great Hall is a must-see. 🎫 Student guided tour: £12.5/person (book ahead!) ➡️ Ice cream break: 🍨 George & Davis – right opposite the church, but no pistachio flavor that day 😢 (I’m a pistachio lover~) ➡️ For Harry Potter fans: ⚡ New College – just past the Bridge of Sighs, look for the big wooden door! 🎫 £8/person – tickets available on site. ➡️ Then just wandered around – found lots of cute little shops 🛍️ Unexpectedly bought a "Women Who Changed the World" tote bag! ✊😏 ➡️ Dinner: Originally planned to go to Ramen Kulture, but ended up at: 🍍 Thaikhun (OX1 2BJ) – tried pineapple fried rice, snack platter, tom yum soup, and basil beef. Just okay—not worth a special trip 🫢 Relaxed, unplanned, and perfectly Oxford 💫 #HarryPotter #Oxford #UKTravel #Bristol #ChillTravel ✨
