A Classic American Dining Experience in Hawaii đ˝ď¸
This was my second time visiting. Last time, I tried the crawfish pasta đŚâwasnât too impressed, as the crawfish didnât taste very fresh. (Note to self: Shouldâve listened to Ding Ding! đ For reference, check out Image 2 of Cainaâs crawfish udonâI finished almost 90% of it! Maybe I was just super hungry that morning, but it honestly hit the spot.) This time, I decided to switch things up and ordered the Pickled Mustard Green Chicken Noodles đ. The mustard greens tasted authentic and flavorful, but heads upâitâs pretty spicy! đśď¸ Proceed with caution if youâre not a heat lover. One thing to note: The restaurant offers bottomless drinks, but I later found out you can actually opt out of them đ¸. However, itâs automatically added to every orderâkinda feels like a sneaky upsell. Youâll have to specifically ask the server to remove it if you donât want it. I tried their latte â this time, and wowâit was seriously bitter! Not enough milk, nowhere near as balanced as my roommateâs homemade brew. If you ask me, a real latte should be like Cudiâs Cheese Latteâcreamy and just right. Ended up switching to a sweet drink later đĽ¤. On a side note: The second floor is actually a pretty nice spot for some offline work đť. Saw a mom helping her kid with homework at the next tableâgot me thinking how tough parenting must be these days. Respect to all the parents out there! đŠâđ§âđ§ #LifeAndFoodExploration #OasisInTheFoodDesert #HawaiiEats #CasualDining #HawaiiFoodDiary
