A Day in Exeter | Fragments of a Stroll Through "Exe-Village"
When Exeter comes to mind, I can only recall the University of Exeter and J.K. Rowling. Since it's just an hour away by train, I decided to visit during spring break. Beyond the bustling city center and cathedral area, Exeter feels remarkably tranquil—I barely encountered two or three people on the streets. I made sure to stop by the University of Exeter, a campus so lush it resembles a forest park. Also, can we just appreciate how many good-looking guys there are here...? As I wandered, Exeter struck me as eerily similar to Lancaster. I sent photos to my friend Xiaolin (in Lancaster), and she agreed: "It really does look the same." Suddenly, I missed the days when we were all still in the UK together. At the train station, I captured the moon hanging in a blue-and-white sky—just as I received a message from Dafu, who’s currently in Tibet. When I shared the photo, she replied, "We’re looking at the same moon." On the evening train back, I watched the sunset melt over the horizon, its glow fading like the receding railway tracks. #Exeter #UK #LifeInUK #TravelSnaps #LifeFragments #SliceOfLife
