A Day in London: Chessington World of Adventures Resort + Zoo 🎢
Who else is a fan of both amusement parks and zoos? 🙋🏻♀️ If you want to experience both an amusement park and a zoo in just one day, I highly recommend a day trip to Chessington World of Adventures Resort ! 🎡 🚞 Getting There : Take the train from London Waterloo Station to Chessington South Station (36 minutes direct). It’s just a 10-minute walk from the station to the resort. The round-trip train ticket costs £10. 🎫 💰 Admission : £36 for adults. Buying online is half the price compared to buying at the gate! 💸 🕰️ Opening Hours : - Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Saturday and Sunday: Closes at 6:00 PM Tip : Download the park’s app, *Chessington Resort*, to see the map and wait times for each attraction. 📱 🎢 Must-Do Attractions : 1. Croc Drop : A thrilling drop ride with a crocodile-themed setting. You’ll feel weightless! 🐊 2. Mandrill Mayhem : A 360° spinning roller coaster. The wait can be long, but it’s super exciting and the ride is quite new! 🎢 3. Vampire : An upside-down and spinning roller coaster. It’s a 5-star thrill! 🧛 4. Tiger Rock : A log flume ride perfect for summer. You’ll get a bit wet, but it’s worth it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5. Dragon’s Fury : An older but still fun roller coaster. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ GORILLA 🦍 ZOO: - The gorillas, tigers, and various monkeys are adorable. You can also see penguins 🐧 and marine life. If you get tired, take a break and enjoy watching the animals. FOOD: - The food in the park is pretty standard—burgers, fish and chips, pizza, etc. Nothing too special. 🍔 Tips : - Arrive early! The park is quite large and closes relatively early. If you go late, you might miss out on some attractions. 🕒 - Overall, it’s a great experience, perfect for a weekend outing with friends, a date, or a family trip! 👨👩👧👦 #London #LondonTravel #UKTravel
