A Day of Up-Close Encounters with Healing Little Animals
I've always wanted to put together a guide for Secret Valley, but when I looked back at my camera's archives, I realized I only had videos and hardly any photos. It's such a pity! That day was all about capturing reactions, and these little animals truly have a healing effect. ☺️ March was really cold, and the park had no shelter at all. I had to wear three layers of clothing to stay warm. The weather was so unpredictable that we had to dodge the rain at any moment.😂 📍 It's quite far from the city center, and there are no direct buses. 🚌 We drove there ourselves. It takes about 1.5 hours from the city center. 🎫 You can buy tickets directly at the site. Adult tickets are 11 euros, and student tickets are 8.5 euros. There are plenty of tickets available, so there's no need to book online. The staff said their ticketing system probably hasn't been updated for a long time. Just go to the site and you'll be fine. If you want to double-check, make sure to call the contact on their Instagram. Other phone numbers might not be correct. I almost gave up, but they answered at the last minute. 🍜 You can bring your own food. There's a café where you can eat, or you can order meals directly. The fireplace in the café burns wood, which creates a super cozy atmosphere. We brought our own food and had a picnic-style meal. 🎡 There are actually many activities, but since we arrived a bit late and it was so cold, we didn't participate in many animal interaction sessions. When we entered, the staff gave us two bags of feed, which we later used to feed the alpacas and sheep. We didn't have much up-close interaction with other little animals, but we did get to pet rabbits and tortoises! They were warm and soft. ⛲ There's also a small interactive area where we played tic-tac-toe and football. The overall experience was great, but I suggest wearing clothes that can get dirty, especially your shoes. Maybe it's because it was drizzling that day, but everywhere was wet and muddy. The first thing we did when we got home was to clean our shoes. Hahaha.😂 #Dublin #Ireland #IrishLife #DublinLife #WeekendForWorkers #WhereToGoOnWeekends #DublinWeekend #DublinWeekendTrip #DublinWeekendAdventures #Europe #EuropeanWeekend #Zoo #RoadTrip #DublinDayTrip
