A day trip to Newcastle

A day trip to Newcastle (super comfortable version)🥯 With a ticket for arrival at 11:30 and departure at 18:50, you'll have ample time to explore Whitley Bay.➕You can visit all the attractions in Newcastle city (and even have 1.5 hours left over).🫚🥨All the attractions in Newcastle are conveniently located near the train station, making it a perfect all-in-one travel destination.🧇🥓 🍆🥬🥦🥔 Once you arrive at Newcastle Station, look for the yellow Metro sign, purchase an ABC combo Day Saver metro ticket, which has now been increased to 6.9 pounds, then take the train to Whitley Bay Station, and follow the navigation to quickly reach the beach. I originally came to Whiley Bay with specific intentions.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿We went to Fisherman Bay, which is reputed to have the best fried fish and chips in the whole of the UK; once we arrived at the beach, we found that the local ecosystem was quite impressive—there were a lot of barnacles adhering to the rocks, and the beach was filled with happy dogs chasing the waves; there were more paw prints than footprints on the sand, and there was also a super cute puppy.🐕‍🦺He came over proactively and we played catch for a couple rounds.⚾️💦💧 Seabirds can also be seen everywhere, in addition to the guy holding potato chips on the power pole, there is also a black little bird with its legs spread apart walking around; I’m not sure what its name is; there are some small shops nearby where dogs are welcome.🌧️🔥 ☄️🔥After that, take the Metro back to Newcastle city center, alight at Monument Station, and you can first visit the oldest indoor Granger Market, followed by the castle, the castle church, the Four Bridges, and St. Mary’s Church, and then proceed to return to Newcastle Railway Station, which is very convenient.🥅🥅 I originally came here to try the supposedly scrumptious pig’s feet rice, but the restaurant didn’t open until five, so I first wandered around the local shopping districts and discovered numerous casinos, gaming venues, and so forth.🍶🥣The locals were also very friendly; there was an elderly man walking his dog who happily let me pet him, and two girls who wished me a happy Valentine’s Day as we passed by each other.🥧🥛 I didn’t get to eat the pig’s feet rice, as it was gobbled up by the Vietnamese eatery next to his house, which gets packed at 4 PM, and the hot pho soup was so comforting on such a cold day, and their salted egg tofu was also quite delicious.👍🏻 In the end, I went to a massive Marks & Spencer store and bought a super cute pussy willow plush toy, marking the perfect end to my day.🔚🪛🔧 🏰The atmosphere of Newcastle is quite different from Edinburgh; it has a stronger sense of community, and it is not as internationalized; locals love taking their dogs for walks and going shopping; bars and casinos are also very crowded; there is a harmonious coexistence of people, birds, and dogs throughout the city, which makes it feel very comfortable; I highly recommend visiting Newcastle on weekends.🗒️📇🧧 #Wheretogofortheweekend#Newcastle #Edinburgh #Newcastle
