A day trip to Victoria

☀Ferries:We had booked a 9:00 am ferry in advance, which cost $135 for a car. We set off at 7:40 am, but didn't expect heavy traffic on the road. The gate closes half an hour before departure, and we thought we wouldn't make it, feeling anxious all the way. We finally arrived at the port at 8:28 am and had to queue up for ticket checking. It was already 8:33 am when we got to the front. The ticket inspector said, "You're very close to the departure time, but you are still good." We finally breathed a sigh of relief. A word of warning: it's safer to arrive at the port an hour early for the ferry, especially during morning rush hour.☺🏠 ❀Butchart Gardens: The ferry took an hour and a half to reach the Vancouver Island port. We headed straight to Butchart Gardens after getting off the ferry, which was about a 40-minute drive away. Tickets for two adults and one child cost approximately $79. This is a must-visit attraction in Victoria. The garden is beautifully and exquisitely built, with hundreds of flower species. The whole garden is filled with the fragrance of hyacinths, while cherry blossoms seem to be the most common variety. The roses in the Rose Garden were not in bloom; maybe visiting in May or June is the best time. The Japanese Garden is a mini version of a Japanese garden, very delicate and lovely. It takes 1-2 hours to visit this attraction.🌈 Fisherman's Wharf: The kids kept saying they were hungry, so we drove to the wharf to eat at the famous Red Fish Blue Fish. We ordered fried cod and fried flounder, which were both good. The salad and fries were also decent.🍟🐟 #Victoria #Vancouver #Vancouver #Vancouver #Canada
