We decided to try this new restaurant and were intrigued from the moment we stepped inside—the entrance had a solid, traditional feel that set the tone for what was to come. We were warmly guided upstairs and seated by the window, which offered a lovely view and soft natural light. To get to our table, we climbed a few small steps before settling into a cozy booth—a setup that reminded me of the intimate, low seating you’d find in a traditional Japanese tatami room, but with a modern twist! 🪟🍵 We started with drinks: A mild, chilled sake – smooth and refreshing 🍶 Iced green tea – which, to my surprise, was served over ice and wonderfully crisp! For food, we ordered: Miso Soup – warm, savory, and comforting 🥣 Gyudon (Beef Bowl) – my friend’s choice, and it was delicious, generous, and deeply authentic 🐮🍚 Unagi Bento – I was told it would take a bit longer due to grilling, and it was worth the wait! The eel was juicy, smoky, and richly glazed 🔥🐟 Yakitori Skewers – chicken, beef, and shiitake mushrooms, all grilled to tender perfection 🍢 Even the side salad stood out—its dressing was light, flavorful, and beautifully balanced 🥗 Everything was thoughtfully prepared and truly enjoyable. The service was polite and attentive, and the atmosphere was both stylish and relaxing.
