A Delicious Lunch at a Miami Jewish Deli! ๐ฅฏ
We arrived in Miami by train and made our way to our hotel, the InterContinental. After checking in, we were ready for lunch and easily reached the restaurant by taking the free Metro Mover. ๐ Just two stops north, we found this gem only steps from the station. Our server, Nancy S. (as noted on the receipt), was attentive, warm, and efficient โ she truly made our meal enjoyable! ๐We both ordered the lunch special, which included a bowl of soup and a coffee. The soup of the day was pumpkin (in peak season!), and it was delicious โ even though itโs not usually my favorite! ๐ I ordered the lamb meatballs (note: extra $2), but they were out of lamb, so I went with the ground beef version โ still charged extra, but it was worth it! The dish was cooked perfectly medium, just as I asked. I also had potato wedges and a fresh Mamacan salad. My partner tried the chicken shashlik with roasted sweet potatoes and a Mamacan salad. We were both full and satisfied! ๐ฅ It was so hot outside that we didnโt feel like hot coffee, but Nancy recommended iced coffee to go โ and it was refreshing and delicious! โ The prices were reasonable for Miami, the service was top-notch, and the food was hearty and flavorful. Though an 18% gratuity is automatically added (which usually makes me hesitant to tip extra), Nancyโs service was so exceptional it felt deserved! โจ No credit card fees โ a nice touch โ and I even earned reward miles! ๐ซ If weโre back in the area and theyโre still around (unlike the empanada place next door, which didnโt survive ๐ข), weโll definitely return. Thank you, Nancy, for a wonderful first meal in Miami! ๐ #MiamiDeli #JewishDeli #NancyTheBest #LunchSpecial #PumpkinSoup #IcedCoffee #GoodService #ReasonablePrice #MetroMover #MiamiEats
