A Delightful French-German Fusion Bistro in Paris
Prost đ Jarret (German Pork Knuckle with Sauerkraut): The pork knuckle is lean yet tender and falls apart easily. The skin is crispy and well-seasoned. Priced at âŹ16, it offers great value for money. đ Ćuf Cocotte (Mushroom and Truffle Sauce with Baked Egg): Served with fragrant toast soldiers, this dish features a rich truffle flavor that I really enjoyed. đ€ Flammkuchen (Thin-Crust Tart with Onions and Mushrooms): The tart is thinly baked, but I found it a bit bland. However, the accompanying truffle sauce from the appetizer perfectly complemented it. đ Profiterole: This dessert features two large scoops of vanilla ice cream with a 70% dark chocolate sauce. The balance of bitter and sweet is excellent, and despite its size, itâs not at all greasy. đ A Great Spot for Gatherings: Open from 3-4 p.m. until late, this bistro is conveniently located near Bastille and perfect for hanging out with friends. Itâs definitely a place Iâd visit again. Hidden Bar, A Secret Corner: After finishing our meal, we thought that was it, but thereâs a hidden bar upstairs! Behind the liquor cabinet lies a secret passage with a red carpet leading upstairs, as if stepping into another world. Who would have thought this unassuming bistro hides such a secret gem! đŽïž Attentive Service, Every Detail Taken Care Of: From bread to drinking water, even the lobster claws, everything was prepared without us having to ask. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient, making for a very comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. #ParisianFoodieAdventures #ParisianCuisine #ParisianDesserts #FrenchCuisine
