A Delightful Local Restaurant 🍴

Trying Reindeer Meat for the First Time Norway 🇳🇴 is definitely not a culinary desert for me. In fact, it's way better than the UK 🇬🇧 in terms of food.🌵 Today, I randomly picked a restaurant and was pleasantly surprised to find out it has been around for over 100 years, serving local specialties. I have to say, their pizza looks strikingly similar to Pizza Hut back home. But the highlight was the reindeer meat. Although it might sound unusual, the reindeer meat was incredibly delicious and tender.🦌 My friend ordered pan-fried trout, which was decent but nothing extraordinary. 🦌 Compared to a Viking-themed restaurant and beer house we visited in Flam, this place was a clear winner. The reindeer meat was so tender and flavorful. Just a tip: if you don't like your food too salty, make sure to ask for less salt (and remind the staff not to sprinkle salt on your dish before serving).🍕 Also, avoid the recommended garlic sauce for the pizza—it's not worth the extra 3 bucks. 🍴 Pillarguri Cafe 📍 Storgata 7, 2670 Otta, Norway ⚠️ On our way to Geirangerfjord, we took a scenic route recommended by the Norwegian Tourist Board. It's not very well-known, but I highly recommend it. Every scenic route in Norway has its own unique charm. Scenic Road: Gamle Strynefjellsvegen Tourist Road: Gamle Strynefjellsvegen🍕 #Travel #NorwayInASnap #Norway #NorwayTravel #ReindeerMeat #Geirangerfjord #FoodRecommendation #NorwegianFood #FoodDiary #Flam
