A fun place: Ordino Arcalís
Actually, this place turns into a ski resort in the winter, but we visited in August during the summer holidays when it was quite hot. This place is perfect for a road trip, although there is public transport, it seems like it’s pretty hard to catch a bus in Andorra, especially up in the mountains. Since it was vacation time, haha, everyone was out and about with their families, some even brought their dogs hiking. I really admire these 🐶🐶 for their perseverance, stronger than mine! It would probably take three or four hours to hike up, but we took the cable car, which was 22 euros per person for a round trip – pretty reasonable. It was my first time on a cable car, the kind that hangs in the air. I was a bit scared at first, but after a while, I got used to it and even started taking photos with my phone 😂 pretty brave, but you really shouldn’t move around too much up there, it can swing and be quite terrifying for someone with a fear of heights. I remember first taking a closed cable car, and then for the second part, we switched to the open-air seats. The scenery along the way was beautiful, breathing in the free wind, hehe. During the ascent, you could see many lakes. At the summit, there was a viewing platform where you could see even more lakes. We brought a telescope, and through it, I even saw people swimming in the lakes 🏊 From the platform to the cable car station, it’s a short walk, about five or six minutes. I think the cable car ride down to the mountain only takes about 20 minutes or so. Once down, it’s time to play with the cows and horses, with meadows, mountains, and little streams. I even brought a drone to take some beautiful photos. Here, you don’t have to worry about the police catching you with a drone, hehehe 😉 #CableCarViews #AndorraTravel #AndorraHiddenGems
