A Gem of a Local Spot! 🥪✨

During my trip to New Orleans, I made sure to stop by Turkey and the Wolf for lunch – and it did not disappoint! The restaurant itself is cozy and small, but it boasts a spacious, relaxed outdoor patio – perfect for a sunny day. ☀️ I ordered at the counter (which can get a bit tight when it's busy, so be prepared!). The menu is thoughtfully curated and not overly large, making it easy to decide. I went with the famous Fried Bologna Sandwich. 🥪 My food was brought out to me on the patio, and wow – the sandwich was massive, especially served on thick Texas toast. The fried bologna was deliciously savory, though I wished the spicy mustard came through a bit more. The homemade potato chips were crispy and perfectly seasoned – absolutely yummy! 🥔💥 The shredded lettuce was fresh and added a great crunch, and the melted cheese was tasty without overpowering the other flavors. Every other sandwich I saw coming out of the kitchen looked incredible! It's clear this place is known for its high-quality homemade meats and bread – and it shows.
