A Great Family-Friendly Hotel in the Heart of All Waikīkī Action! 🌴🏨

We stayed for 10 nights over a busy holiday weekend and overall really enjoyed our visit — though we felt the hotel is better suited for families than for couples. Before arrival, communication with the hotel was smooth, and thanks to Alaina/Harriz and the team, we even received a lovely upgrade to an ocean-view room! 🏙️🌊 The room was spacious, comfortable, and featured a very cozy bed. As Globalist members, we had access to the Regency Lounge for breakfast and dinner. We found the food quality generally great, with plenty of healthy options, and the staff were wonderful — though indoor seating was quite limited for the number of guests. 🍽️🥗 We noticed many guests having unpleasant encounters with aggressive birds in the outdoor seating area 🦅😅. If we return, we’d hope this could be improved — many local restaurants use bird deterrents, and the Regency Lounge could really benefit from doing the same to create a more pleasant experience. The yoga sessions at the spa were fantastic — excellent instructor and breathtaking views! 🧘‍♀️🌅 Hydration stations on every floor were a super convenient touch. Don’t miss the great shopping area on the open-air ground floor — and be sure to try the gelato! 🛍️🍦 Our balcony (Room 2063) was a perfect spot for enjoying takeout lunches. Even in August/September, it never got direct sunlight, so it stayed comfortable even when temperatures rose above 85°F — and I don’t tolerate heat well! 😄 We didn’t use the pool; the seating around it felt quite small for the size of the hotel, though the hot tub was nice and spacious. One heads-up: the balcony doors aren’t fully sealed, so even with a noise device, Waikīkī — especially on a holiday weekend — gets pretty loud at night with cars and motorcycles showing off! 🏍️🔊 We’d happily come back — especially if the Regency Lounge outdoor seating experience gets a feathery (or non-feathery!) upgrade! 😉 #WaikikiStay #FamilyTravel #HotelLife #RegencyLounge #OceanView #TravelTips #HawaiiVibes #RoomWithAView
