A Heartwarming Half-Day at Dog Tales Rescue & Sanctuary 🐾

🇨🇦 Toronto Summer Special Discover this magical animal rescue sanctuary—Dog Tales Rescue & Sanctuary in King City! Every Sunday in August, they host fruit-themed open house days, making it the perfect summer outing. ⛲️ More Than Just a Shelter This place feels like a beautiful ranch rather than a typical rescue center. Alongside adorable dogs, you'll find horses, cows, sheep, chickens, donkeys, and more—all rescued from across Canada and beyond. Some are happily munching away, others basking in the sun, and a few rolling joyfully in the grass. Every animal here looks happy and cared for! 🐶 Meet the Dogs The indoor kennel houses many dogs waiting for adoption. Each has their own cozy space with details like name, age, personality, and health notes posted outside. They also get to enjoy a huge outdoor play area, taking turns to run, play fetch, and interact with visitors. 🌼 Farm Tour at 1 PM Join the guided tour where staff share heartwarming stories about each animal. You'll meet: • A 30-year-old horse (equivalent to a human in their 80s-90s) enjoying retirement 🐴 • A giant cow that stands taller than most people 🐄 • A "queen pig" who bullies the others 😂 • Hens that regrew their feathers after being rescued 🐔 Every story is touching and shows how much love goes into caring for these animals. 📍 Address: 1405 19th Sideroad, King City, Ontario ⏰ Hours: Sundays in August, 12 PM - 4 PM 🎟️ Admission: Adults 8 | Kids 4 (Voluntary donations welcome!) ⚠️ Important Notes: • Open only on Sundays in August—book tickets online in advance! • Leave pets at home (to avoid stressing the rescue animals). • Some dogs may not be kid-friendly—parents, keep an eye on little ones. • A cozy indoor café serves sweets and hot drinks (limited but charming!). This place is a true sanctuary, where every life is treated with kindness. Let’s spread the word and support these beautiful rescue efforts! 💖 #TorontoPets #WeekendGetaway #TorontoLife #AdoptDontShop #TorontoPhotography #FarmVisits #ExploreToronto #AnimalLovers #SummerInToronto
