A Hidden French Tapas Gem 😋 Better Than Spain's!

Who would have thought that Spanish tapas in Paris could be even better than what I had in Spain! 😍 The name of this hidden gem is **EL CERVANTES**. It’s a bit like a hole-in-the-wall place, frequented almost exclusively by locals. 🇫🇷 I ordered a few classic dishes, and each one was delicious! 😋 🦑 **Fried Squid:** Crispy and fragrant, with a tender interior and no fishy taste at all. It’s perfect with a drink! 🦐 **Grilled Shrimp:** Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with an oiliness that’s simply divine! Super aromatic! 🫑 **Spanish Roasted Peppers:** Some are spicy, some are not, adding a delightful surprise with every bite! The slightly charred skin and coarse salt create a fantastic texture that’s hard to stop eating. 🥖 **Bread:** The crust is crispy, making a satisfying “crunch” when you bite into it, while the inside is soft. It’s the perfect companion for dipping in shrimp oil or pepper sauce. (I rarely finish the bread at other restaurants, but here, I didn’t leave a crumb. This place really pays attention to the details.👍) 🍷 **Sangria:** Chilled, with a hint of fruity aroma, and just the right balance of sweet and sour. It’s the perfect pairing with these tapas! The entire meal was incredibly satisfying. The atmosphere and pace of the place are so relaxing. It feels like stumbling upon a hidden Spanish corner in Paris. #FoodAndWine #ParisianLife #ParisianTavern #ParisianSpanishRestaurant #SpanishTapas #Tapas #ParisianTapas #FoodIn5thArrondissement #ParisTravel #ParisianCuisine #ChallengingTheTavernsFood #SpanishCuisine #FoodHasNoBorders #HealedByFood
