A Hidden Gem for Indian Cuisine đźđł
Tried it myselfâitâs delicious! Personally, I found the flavours leaning more towards Southeast Asian. If you love Thai or Peranakan cuisine, this is a must-try! đŽ: Dishoom Covent Garden â°: 8:00-11:00 Breakfast / 12:00 Lunch đ: 12 Upper St Martinâs Ln, London, WC2H 9FB, UK Okra Fries: First time trying fried okraâunhealthy food is always the tastiest, isnât it? Plain Naan/Cheese Naan/Garlic Naan: Three types of Indian flatbread đ« (we jokingly call it "naan" đ€Ł but thinner). My favourite was the cheese oneâperfect with curry or Chicken Ruby. The others were just okay, but my friends preferred them. Tandoori Lamb Chops đ: Highly recommended! The charcoal grill gives it a unique smoky flavour, though the portion is a bit small. I could easily finish a whole plate myself. Tandoori Chaat: Kind of like a grilled mix? Has potatoes đ„, peppers đ¶ïž, and something else we couldnât figure out by the end. The spices here were the strongest of the mealâsweet, sour, and spicy all at once. Hard to describe, but weirdly addictive. Chicken Ruby: Reminded me of Beef Rendang from Singapore. If you order this, definitely get the Jackfruit Biryani (fried rice)âit pairs perfectly. My friend said the rice was sweet, but I didnât taste that at all. Overall, portions are small, so order a few extra dishes. Four of us spent ÂŁ101âpretty standard for London. #ExoticFlavours #LondonFoodFinds #LondonEats #IndianCuisine #HiddenGems #MustTryRestaurants
