A Journey to Italian Romance in Cape Town, South Africa

I've always loved the streets of Stellenbosch—it's so laid-back and comfortable, with great coffee, delicious desserts, and fantastic wine! I hit the jackpot with my restaurant "blind box" adventure! When I arrived, it was already mealtime, and every restaurant was bustling with people. I randomly chose one that wasn't as crowded and was pleasantly surprised. The place had a hidden gem of a small garden outside, giving it an Italian flair. After lunch, you could move to the street-side tables to continue sipping coffee☕️. The menu had lots of unfamiliar words, so I stuck with what I recognized. Since I don't like too creamy sauces, I opted for pasta without sauce. Pasta⭐️⭐️⭐️ The quality of Italian pasta is generally consistent—a safe choice. Risotto⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended! It blew my taste buds away. Chicken breast⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very thin and tender, with a unique flavor. Fish⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The fish was plump and the sauce was excellent. None of the main courses came with side dishes; they had to be ordered separately. Italian cuisine is definitely worth looking forward to😎. 📍 Wijnhuis 11 Andringa St, Stellenbosch Central, Stellenbosch, 7600 #LifeJournal #CapeTown #Stellenbosch #WineEstate #BlindBoxRestaurant #ItalianCuisine
