A Korea Trip That Exceeded All Expectations

My impression of South Korea was surprisingly great—my expectations were so low that I chose a single-entry visa over a 5-year or 10-year one. But by the last day of the trip, I was already wandering around while planning my next visit! I highly recommend all friends traveling to Seoul make the most of visitseoul.net—this is an official website launched by South Korea. Beyond basic travel guides, it offers more than 30 free guided tour routes. The tour guides are local uncles and aunties who speak excellent Chinese and have a wealth of knowledge 🗣️. I booked four routes, and each one taught me so much: not only did I learn about Korea’s history, politics, religion, architecture, and diplomacy, but I also picked up a lot of common sense about ancient Chinese culture (I had a college course on the same topic as a freshman, but I didn’t listen to a word back then—turns out cultural lessons shouldn’t be confined to classrooms!). Every guide was extremely humble and polite. Watching how their country’s culture is so well-preserved and developed, I truly felt the vibe of “appreciating each other’s beauty to achieve global harmony” () 🌍. #KoreaTrip #SeoulTravel #VisitSeoul #UnexpectedTravelJoys #CulturalTours
