From anywhere in the town, you can enjoy the view of the mountains, with a misty atmosphere that is serene and beautiful. The town itself is not large. Walk by the river that flows from the snow mountains and pass by the main church, Cattedrale di San Giusto, which you can visit. Climb up a small hill, cross the Arco di Augusto, and after a short hike, you'll arrive at the small Roman Amphitheatre. On weekends, apart from a few bars, not many other shops are open, making it perfect for a slow stroll around town. Bring a homemade sandwich—it's quite pleasant. From the train station, you can directly navigate to Castello di Avigliana.
