A Little Town at the Foot of the Annapurna Himalayas đď¸
Ugh, my procrastination is terminal đ! I promised a friend Iâd make her a photo album, and I started off strongâfinished editing, printing, and DIY-ing the album within a week of getting home. But even though I gave her the album over a week ago, Iâm only posting this nowâtwo whole months later. Finally, hereâs the story of this (snow-capped mountain town)! : World Peace Pagoda (one of Pokharaâs landmarks) Stand here, and youâll capture the perfect shot of Annapurna I towering behind the white stupa. The snow-capped peakâs grandeur blends with the pagodaâs serenity, and the air feels so calm itâs like time slows down âł. Pumdikot religious area A 15-minute drive from the Peace Pagodaâitâs actually that higher hill in the top left of p2! Higher than the pagoda, the views here are even better: Pokharaâs largest Shiva statue stands tall, and turn around to see multiple Annapurna peaks lined up like giants. Snow mountains, lake, deity statue, and townâall in one frame đ. Itâs a moment that takes your breath away. Under Annapurnaâs watch, every corner of Pokhara feels gently touched by magic. Even after dragging my feet for so long, flipping through these photos brings back that awe of being surrounded by Himalayan peaksâlike it was just yesterday â¤ď¸. #LifeInATownBeneathSnowPeaks #LesserKnownCountriesTravel #AnnapurnaHimalayas #PokharaNepal
