A Memorable Stay with One Minor Hiccup 🏨✨

I was almost hesitant to write this review, but fair is fair—this hotel truly deserves recognition for its overall excellence. We chose this beautiful property to celebrate my sister’s 60th birthday 🎂🥳, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was both grand and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we stepped in. After a long 15-hour international journey, we were initially stressed when our booking couldn’t be found in the system due to an issue with British Airways. But a kind lady at the front desk quickly reassured us, arranged a room, and had everything sorted by the next morning—thank goodness! 🙏 The staff truly stood out during our stay. Floyd, Chris, Irash, Paula, and Tiffany were not only friendly but incredibly attentive and professional—they made us feel so cared for 💖. That said, we did have one unpleasant encounter at breakfast with a staff member named Jessica, who came across as quite rude. We felt she needed more training in guest interaction. However, when we raised the issue with the F&B manager, he handled it promptly and professionally ✅. On the bright side, the hotel facilities were excellent: a well-stocked bar 🍸, delicious food, a beautiful and spacious room, and an impressive gym in the basement 💪. We also loved the quirky yet elegant vibe, especially the Friday night event featuring peanut butter & jelly snacks and a DJ spinning great tunes 🎶🥜. We would definitely stay here again if we return to New Orleans—a city full of beauty and some of the kindest people we’ve ever met 🌆💕.
