💗Bakersfield Nashville: Guided by local friends, my husband and I made our way through the neon-lit hustle and bustle of Broadway and found this restaurant with no prominent sign at the corner of Second Street. Upon learning it was our first visit, she patiently explained the origin and characteristics of each type of tequila and recommended drinks for us.🔅 💟The taco platter showcased the chef's innovative take on traditional Mexican snacks: slow-braised beef cheek paired with crispy fried cactus strips, smoked pork neck with mango-lime salsa, and crispy fried fish fillets with pickled purple cabbage. 🌈The most delightful surprise was the homemade corn tortillas, which had a uniquely coarse texture and were incredibly delicious. 🌺All in all, it was a delightful first dinner in Nashville. #Nashville #MexicanCuisine #HiddenGem
