A Michelin Chefโ€™s Fried Chicken Joint ๐ŸŒŸ

I absolutely loved the first Pecking House in Park Slope, especially their Sichuan-spiced and salted-egg-yolk flavored fried chicken. ๐ŸŒธ Those were standout dishes! I used to order takeout from them quite often, but recently I discovered that the old location had closed and theyโ€™d opened a new one in Chinatown. ๐ŸŒ† ๐Ÿƒ The new spot in Chinatown is even more affordable. You can basically eat your fill for just a few bucks. Theyโ€™ve also updated their menu. ๐ŸŽข The double-barreled drumsticks are huge, coated in a generous layer of salted egg yolk. The skin is crispy and flavorful, while the inside chicken is tender. The seasoning could be a bit more penetrating, but itโ€™s still fantastic. ๐Ÿ— ๐Ÿ™๏ธI also ordered the Spice Bag platter with curry sauce, which included fries, chicken tenders, and bell pepper beans. Dipped in the curry sauce, it was incredibly delicious! ๐ŸŸ Eating in doesnโ€™t require a tip, but the downside is that there are only a few tables. For just a few bucks, you can experience a Michelin chefโ€™s recipe. Totally worth it! ๐Ÿ’ฐ ๐Ÿ“ 83 Henry St Shop 1, New York, NY 10002 #NewYork #FoodRecommendation #FriedChicken ๐ŸŒŸ
