A Mini Tour of Central Park's Landmarks (1)🌳

Central Park ranks number one on TripAdvisor's New York "Things to do" list. This means that if you come to New York and don't visit Central Park, you might as well not have come at all. 🗽✨I think this ranking is truly well-deserved. New York without Central Park would be an unbearably mundane place, just a city of concrete and steel. No matter how tall or luxurious the buildings are, they only make people feel more suffocated. New Yorkers should be grateful for the foresight of their predecessors who designed such a large area as a park, giving New Yorkers a "urban oasis" where they can escape the hustle and bustle of the city, even if only for a short while. 🗽✨ Central Park is vast and profound, encompassing so many different things. I couldn't possibly experience everything in my brief visit, so I'll just highlight a few landmark spots. ✅️ Grand Army Plaza: There are few statues in the United States that are shiny golden and look so grand and luxurious, making this one particularly eye-catching. The statue was completed in 1916 to commemorate the Civil War 🗽✨ In the front is the commonly seen Goddess of Victory, and in the back is the famous American General William Sherman. 🌟 #NewYork 🗽✨
