A Mixed Bag β Some Hits, Some Misses π―π½οΈ
My husband and I recently stayed at the Monteleone and decided to have breakfast at Criollo. I ordered the Crab Avocado Toast π¦π₯ β it was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented! My husband got the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich with fresh fruit. He enjoyed the sandwich, but mentioned he would've preferred chilled fruit instead of it being served at room temperature π₯π. I loved my meal so much that we returned to Criollo before leaving New Orleans. This time, I ordered the Avocado Toast again (without crab) β still great! I also asked for a side of oatmeal, but unfortunately, it was pretty bland π₯£. A pinch of salt in the cooking water would have made a world of difference. My husband ordered the Monteleone Breakfast: his eggs were undersalted, but the potatoes, bacon, and biscuit were all tasty π₯π³. That said, the service and personal attention we received at every level were truly top-tier ππ«.
