A Model of Traditional and Innovative Russian Cuisine💚 Moscow Pushkin
"Pushkin Restaurant" (Cafe Pushkin) is a Russian-style restaurant built on the site of the 19th-century Rimsky-Korsakov Manor. Moscow historians have called the transformation of the former residence into a restaurant "one of the most shameful events in the city's history in recent decades." The restaurant mainly has three halls, the most famous of which is the "Library" hall on the second floor. It features panoramic large glass windows, heavy carved furniture, bookshelves lined with antique editions of Russian classic books printed from the 18th to the early 20th century, antique globes, antique telescopes, and more. 🌟The ambiance remains as wonderful as ever, and while the service is not as good as before, it still maintains a mid-to-high level. The lighting is quite dim in the evening, so it's recommended to take photos during the day. There are English menus available, and while the Russian menus contain a lot of archaic Russian, it's still understandable🤭. The website has a Chinese interface for reservations, or you can make reservations by phone in English or Russian. 🌟The dishes are not cheap, but the portions are quite generous, so it's recommended to go with a group of people to order more dishes. Apart from the hot dish "Rossini" which was subpar, the rest were quite good. It's worth mentioning the Beef Tartare, which comes in several flavors and tastes very good, albeit in a very large portion. The traditional salad Olivier is served in a novel presentation, paired with black caviar and crayfish tails, which is not common. 🌟The dishes in the picture are as follows: Carpaccio of Scallops and Sole Olivier Salad Sea Scallops with Pasta Beef Tartare Mushrooms à la Poulet Lamb Chops Rossini Pojarsky Cutlet Pushkin Café Dessert Gzhel Dessert Cream Brûlée with Raspberry #MoscowFood #RussianFood #RussianCuisine #RussianTravel #RussianRestaurants #MoscowRestaurants #RussianMeal #Moscow #HiddenGemRestaurants #RussianLife #MoscowLife #MoscowStudyAbroad
