A note on Rio’s beaches:
🏝️How Can You Visit Rio Without Exploring the Famous Copacabana? Unfortunately, both days I spent at Copacabana were cloudy. The water is clear, the sand is incredibly fine 🥹, and the waves are strong — easy to get your clothes soaked! Tourists love jumping in the waves here. Sitting on the shore and enjoying the sea breeze is also wonderfully relaxing. You might even find some thick, round seashells 🐚 occasionally. However, only visit during the daytime — nights and early mornings can be dangerous‼️ 🏝️Flamengo Beach: ✨You can also see Pão de Açúcar (Sugarloaf Mountain) from here. I visited on a sunny Sunday — almost no foreign tourists in sight, just Brazilian families enjoying weekend outings with their kids. Some were even throwing parties in the water! The waves here are much calmer than Copacabana’s. What surprised me was how clean the beach was — pure sand 😮! Not a single intact seashell, just tiny fragments almost blending into the sand. #Copacabana #RioBeaches #BrazilTravel #FlamengoBeach #TravelDiary#Brazil#travel guide
