The Paley Center for Media is marking its 50th anniversary with one of its biggest events in years: Stranger Things — The Final Season Celebration , a special screening and cast conversation on Thursday, December 18 that’s already shaping up to be a must-attend moment for NYC fans. Held at the Paley Museum’s Midtown location on West 52nd Street, the event will feature a screening of the final episode from Volume One followed by a behind-the-scenes panel with nearly the entire Hawkins crew — including Millie Bobby Brown ,”Eleven”; Finn Wolfhard , “Mike Wheeler”; Gaten Matarazzo , “Dustin Henderson”; Caleb McLaughlin “Lucas Sinclair”; Noah Schnapp , “Will Byers”; Natalia Dyer, “Nancy Wheeler”; Charlie Heaton , “Jonathan Byers”; Maya Hawke , “Robin Buckely”; Jamie Campbell Bower , “Vecna”; and David Harbour, “Jim Hopper.” Collider’s Perri Nemiroff will moderate. It’s one of the only in-person Stranger Things events tied to the show’s last chapter , making it a rare chance to hear straight from the cast before the story wraps for good. (SPOILER): The final season storyline — and what fans will see -------------------------------------------------------------- Season 5 picks up in the fall of 1987, as Hawkins struggles under military quarantine following the opening of the Rifts. Vecna has vanished, the government is intensifying its hunt for Eleven, and the entire party is gearing up for one last, all-or-nothing fight against a darkness more powerful than anything they’ve faced. Guests at the Paley event will watch the final episode of Volume One on the big screen before the conversation begins — and attendees will also have the chance to win an exclusive Stranger Things keepsake . Tickets are already sold out — but there’s a waitlist ----------------------------------------------------- As of now, the Paley Center has confirmed that the event is entirely sold out in the main Bennack Theater. However: * A *very limited* number of VIP reserved seats are still available only for Paley Patron & President’s Circle Members. * Everyone else can join the official waitlist to be notified if seats open up for closed-circuit viewing inside the museum. * Members must enter their membership ID (including dashes) or their temporary access code to unlock purchase options. Anyone hoping to snag a last-minute spot is strongly encouraged to join the waitlist immediately. A packed December at the Paley Center ------------------------------------- The Stranger Things celebration is part of a stacked month of screenings and live events, including *The Beatles on The Beatles*, An Evening with Bob Costas, and a Season 2 sneak peek of *Percy Jackson and the Olympians*. And, of course, PaleyLand — the museum’s annual holiday takeover featuring Santa photos, character meet-and-greets, a magical train display, crafts, screenings, and free hot chocolate — runs through January 4. ☎️ 📺 🔦 For all the details on this one-of-one Stranger Things event, head to The Paley Center’s website here.
