A Pasta Bar - My Favorite Pasta Place of the Year!
A Pasta Bar - New York Soho Area I got incredibly lucky with the reservation here ✨. I didn’t have high expectations since I found it on Instagram, but it ended up being my favorite pasta place of 2024! 😍 (Note: This is not traditional Italian cuisine ⚠️.) 🍨 Homemade Burrata 🥰 Ordered it for the looks, but the taste was the real winner! The jam, pistachio crumbs, and creamy burrata were perfectly combined. I had to order extra bread to go with it and ended up eating two whole baskets, feeling almost full already. (Their pre-meal bread is amazing too!) 🦪 Spaghetti Alle Vongole 😍 The clams were very generous in portion! The pasta had a comforting, home-cooked feel, similar to seafood noodles back home. The subtle spiciness really enhanced the flavor. Highly recommended! 🦞 Tagliatelle All’Astice 😘 The lobster meat was a bit sparse, but the standout was the lobster roe in the sauce. The pasta was delicious, and the cherry tomatoes were peeled—such a thoughtful touch! 🍫 Cheesecake 😀 I’d skip this dessert. The texture was perfect, but it was a bit too rich for my taste. For those who prefer traditional and affordable pasta, I’d still recommend Cotenna. But A Pasta Bar has a strong artistic vibe, with rich and innovative sauces. The only downside is the price (make sure to book in advance). I’ll definitely be back to try their other popular pasta dishes. The $60 mini pizza was a bit of a shock, though! 🤯 #NewYork #NYCFood #NYCPasta #LifeInNorthAmerica #NYCSoho #NYCDateRestaurant #NYCExploration
