A Perfect Day in Malmö
🌟 Thanks to a music festival, I spent three days in Malmö. In reality, one well-planned day is enough to see the highlights. Sweden’s third-largest city is a powerhouse in pharmaceuticals, biotech, IT, and food trade. Thanks to the Öresund Bridge, Copenhagen is only a 45-minute ride away. 🚝 Transport Download the Skånetrafiken app for local buses and trains (buy tickets in advance). 🏠 Accommodation Book early on Booking, Airbnb, or direct hotel sites—especially for homestays, last-minute rooms disappear fast. We stayed at the Quality Hotel View opposite Emporia, right next to Malmö Central Station. Downstairs: McDonald’s and Turkish kebab; across the street: the buzzy U-shaped Emporia mall packed with eateries. 🌳 Sights (all doable in one day) 🌟 Malmöhus Castle & Museum 📍 Malmöhusvägen 6, 211 18 Malmö ⏱ 11:00-17:00, closed Mondays 🌟 St Peter’s Church 📍 Göran Olsgatan 4, 211 22 Malmö ⏱ 10:00-18:00 🌟 Malmö Square & City Hall 📍 Step outside Malmö Central Station: the red Baroque City Hall and lively square are right there ⏱ Open 24/7 🌟 Emporia Shopping Centre 📍 Hyllie Boulevard 19, 215 32 Malmö ⏱ 10:00-20:00 #Malmö #MalmöTravel #MalmöFood #SwedenMalmö
