A Perfect Day in Malmö
đ Thanks to a music festival, I spent three days in Malmö. In reality, one well-planned day is enough to see the highlights. Swedenâs third-largest city is a powerhouse in pharmaceuticals, biotech, IT, and food trade. Thanks to the Ăresund Bridge, Copenhagen is only a 45-minute ride away. đ Transport Download the SkĂ„netrafiken app for local buses and trains (buy tickets in advance). đ Accommodation Book early on Booking, Airbnb, or direct hotel sitesâespecially for homestays, last-minute rooms disappear fast. We stayed at the Quality Hotel View opposite Emporia, right next to Malmö Central Station. Downstairs: McDonaldâs and Turkish kebab; across the street: the buzzy U-shaped Emporia mall packed with eateries. đł Sights (all doable in one day) đ Malmöhus Castle & Museum đ MalmöhusvĂ€gen 6, 211 18 Malmö â± 11:00-17:00, closed Mondays đ St Peterâs Church đ Göran Olsgatan 4, 211 22 Malmö â± 10:00-18:00 đ Malmö Square & City Hall đ Step outside Malmö Central Station: the red Baroque City Hall and lively square are right there â± Open 24/7 đ Emporia Shopping Centre đ Hyllie Boulevard 19, 215 32 Malmö â± 10:00-20:00 #Malmö #MalmöTravel #MalmöFood #SwedenMalmö
