Mutantur – The Most Beautiful Encounter in a Small Swedis

🌈 I visited Sweden during Midsummer, when most restaurants were closed. On the last night I finally managed to get a table at Mutantur 🌈 The restaurant only opens Monday-Friday nights, and only takes bookings for the 5 p.m. seating—giving passers-by a fair chance to taste the food. The space is industrial-chic, the staff warm and welcoming. Most dishes are tapas-sized, so hearty eaters can order freely. 🥬 Highlights: 🍲• White asparagus with scallop – turned me into a white-asparagus convert. 🍲• Taco with chanterelles – locals joke Swedes love chanterelles so much that “if you pick them yourself, you won’t even share with your partner.” 🍲• Chocolate-brownie sandwich with yuzu ice cream – chocolate and yuzu are a perfect match. 🥬 After eating around the Nordics, it’s clear how deeply Nordic chefs adore Japan: design, plating, and even flavor profiles echo Japanese sensibilities. 🌟 At several Michelin-recommended spots, menus read like love letters from Scandinavia to Japan. #Malmo #Mutantur #SwedenTravel #Nordic
