Here’s how we spent our day: 🚗 Getting There & Parking Toll: €4.60 (one-way on French highways) Parking: Parking Indigo Metz Coislin (€13.40 for 12:00-18:00) – just 6-8 mins walk to the city center. ⛪ Highlights 1️⃣ Metz Cathedral (Saint-Étienne) Gothic grandeur with stunning stained glass. 2️⃣ Lunch at Metz Covered Market � Fresh seafood, fruits, flowers – and a busy restaurant where we tried French pork knuckle (softer & chewier than Germany’s crispy version – our preference! 😋). 3️⃣ Temple Neuf 🌊 A postcard-perfect Protestant church by the river. (Skipped museums – saving them for next time!) 💡 Why Metz? Compact & walkable – all sights near the cathedral. Franco-German flavors – from architecture to food.
