A Pleasant Stay
As soon as we knew we were going to Hawaii, we were eager to visit Pearl Harbor. We chose the Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra in Honolulu for two nightsโone before and one after our trip to Pearl Harbor ๐จ. The hotel perfectly met our needs and was only a 20-minute drive from the Pearl Harbor National Memorial ๐๐บ๐ธ. The hotel is close to the beach and within walking distance of plenty of shopping options ๐๏ธ๐๏ธ. It also functions as a conference center, so it was quite busy, with events taking place during our stay. Still, our room was quiet, and we had no complaints ๐ด. We didnโt spend much time at the hotel since we arrived late the first night and left around 9:30 AM on checkout day, so we didnโt get to use the leisure facilities. That said, the hotel features a rooftop pool and a gym ๐โโ๏ธ๐ช. There are also various shops in the lobby and an on-site bar that seemed very popular ๐น. The Ala Moana Center is right next doorโitโs huge and has an excellent food court ๐. Walmart and Target are within walking distance, which was convenient for picking up daily necessities ๐. We also drove to Costco, which was only 10โ15 minutes away ๐. A large Starbucks in the lobby made it easy to grab a morning drink and breakfast โ๐ฅ. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away, and we enjoyed a stunning sunset during our evening stroll on the second day ๐ . Our room faced the ocean, which was lovely ๐. The hotel offers some roadside parking and ample parking space, but like 99% of parking in Honolulu, itโs expensive ๐ธ. Parking at the Ala Moana Hotel costs $39 for 24 hours. We used the hotel parking for convenience and security ๐ ฟ๏ธ. The parking garage is located beneath the hotel building and is accessible directly from the lobby. Overall, this hotel was a great place to stay, and we would consider it again if we return to the island ๐. #AlaMoanaHotel #PearlHarborTrip #ConvenientLocation #RooftopPool #AlaMoanaCenter #BeachAccess #PaidParking #WouldStayAgain
