A real-life animal kingdom
How could you come to Africa and not go on a Safari?!! I thought Safari was just the name of a mobile browser📱 But then I realized it's like a real-life "Animal Planet" show!! 🚗 We drove 200km to Addo Elephant National Park Starting from the Tsitsikamma guesthouse, we sped all the way And finally made it to South Africa's third-largest national park!! Key points⚠️ ✅ Open-top Safari vehicles run 3 - 4 times a day (early morning and evening are the best times!) ✅ You can buy tickets online, by phone, or on-site ✅ Although you can drive yourself, it's safer and more efficient to go with a guide (especially since there are lions🦁️ in the park!!) 🎪 First, visit the knowledge exhibition hall upon entering The wall of animal horn specimens is super impressive But then I saw "rhino horns are too precious to display" My DNA was activated... Later, I witnessed the heartbreaking reality of "dehorning for survival"😭 🐆 The real-life animal world show begins! As soon as we got on the vehicle, the driver said: "You guys are super lucky!" The missing elephant herd suddenly returned🐘 And the lions were spotted nearby yesterday!! Sleepy lion🦁️: A beauty dozing in the bushes far away, just chilling in the daytime Grazing elephant🐘: Slowly walking and munching on grass, the elegance of herbivores is nailed Cuddly zebras🦓: The sight of a mother and baby zebra hugging is so heartwarming!! My phone was clicking away Dehorned rhino🦏: A lone rhino with its horn sawed off, standing in the distance, it really shows that "possessing something valuable can be a curse"... Mud-covered warthog🐗: The warthog rolling around in the mud, splashing it all over! Oh my, I'm craving that figure (just kidding) 🍴 Secrets of the South African dining table Kudu antelope and Springbok gazelle are on the legal menu! Ostrich meat is also a common dish... Suddenly, I understand the restaurant menu😂 ⚠️ Wild warning Seeing someone get out of their car to chase animals?? Always follow the rules on a Safari!! ✨ Ultimate insights after tracking four of the Big Five Seeing lions and elephants in the wild, in their freedom Suddenly, I was overwhelmed... If there were no poaching, why would rhino horns have to be sawed off? If humans weren't so greedy, they could be happier😭 The Garden Route trip came to a perfect end~ Though there were regrets, South Africa! I will be back!! #SouthAfricaTravel #AddoElephantNationalPark #BigFive #SouthAfricaGardenRouteGuide
