A restaurant that only sells meat. Sorry, no pasta available.
There aren't many T-bone steak restaurants in Florence that open for lunch. When we walked in and saw the kitchen staff sawing through the steaks, we were quite taken aback.😍😍😍 As we entered, we had a brief chat with the young owner: Owner: "We only serve meat here. Is that okay with you?"❤️❤️❤️ Me: "What? Do you have drinks and water?"😻😻😻 Owner: "Of course, of course." Me: "Alright, let's give it a try."😀😀😀 Upon entering, we scanned the QR code for the WiFi and then scanned again to access the menu. Each table had a small candle, adding a romantic touch. In Florence, traditional restaurants don't allow customers to choose the doneness of their steak; it's usually served very rare (al sangue). The owner, a handsome young man who was veryenthusiastic, might have been the waiter. The olive oil served was from the Chianti region and went well with the bread. The T-bone steak in Florence is priced at 80 euros per kilogram, with a minimum order of 1.3 kilograms, which I thought was reasonable. The restaurant also offers a 99 euro set meal that includes a T-bone steak (without the fillet part) and fried potatoes. It has won an award on TripAdvisor for three consecutive years. The meat is tender. Although it looks quite rare, it's actually very soft and not as scary as one might imagine. Since it's customary to pair steak with red wine in Italy, we didn't order any, but the owner kindly gave us two glasses of red wine, making us feel truly valued! After the steak was weighed, the staff brought it over for us to see. The fried potatoes were also delicious; even I, who usually don't like potatoes, ate quite a few pieces. After the meal, they thoughtfully provided wet wipes for cleaning our hands, which added to the service quality. Full marks! The key point is that the restaurant wasn't crowded, and the dishes were served quickly. Everyone is welcome to visit! The tables in the restaurant are made from the remains of a shipwreck from the Tuscan coast. Interestingly, their next restaurant is set to open in Hainan.
