We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary here, and everything was flawless ✨💖. You must try their gumbo — rich, deep in flavor, and truly comforting. The roasted duck was exquisite — tender, succulent, and cooked to perfection 🦆🍽️. Their cheesecake was uniquely light and paired with a special honey-flavored sauce — a sweet, memorable finish to the meal 🍯🍰. We even had a chance encounter with the famous Irene, who was chatting with locals at the next table — a lovely, serendipitous moment 🥰🗣️. It was a beautiful evening. The restaurant’s classic, timeless atmosphere made us feel both nostalgic and completely present. We will definitely be back. My mother’s name was also Irene, and we came here partly in her memory.
