A Romantic Valentine's Night in Philadelphia โค๏ธ Dinner at The Love
๐ The Love. I had tried their brunch before, but it didn't leave a strong impression. This was my first time trying their dinner. I booked here without hesitation mainly because the name of the restaurant is such a perfect fit for Valentine's Day. ๐ Line-Caught Tuna Crudo - $22 The presentation and flavor are quite complex. The Asian-style black garlic sauce is a bit overpowering. It's not one of the best Tuna Crudos I've had. ๐ Shrimp & Scallop Spaghetti - $38 A refreshing and creamy seafood pasta that really hit the spot for us. ๐ ๐ฆ CRISPY DUCK CONFIT - $38 The duck skin is super fragrant. The duck itself is a bit salty, but it pairs perfectly with the wheat grains. The cherries marinated in balsamic vinegar add a unique touch. As someone who loves duck, I'll always order it when it's on the menu! ๐ฆ ๐ Housemade Crispy Potato Frites And Charred Onion Remoulade - $8 I was expecting fries, but these were actually generous portions of potato chunks. Paired with the rich onion sauce, it feels like a calorie bomb! ๐ฅ ๐ฎ WARM RED VELVET CAKE - $13 The red velvet cake with cookies and cream ice cream and chocolate sauce is just the right amount of sweetness for me. I loved it! ๐ฐ ๐ฐ The restaurant also gave us a complimentary cheesecake for our anniversary reservation. ๐ง It's not a must-visit restaurant in Philadelphia, but it's definitely a place I'd want to come back to occasionally. ๐ ฟ๏ธ Street parking was a bit of a challenge, but we managed to find a spot. #WeekendEats #DinnerTonight #Philadelphia #PhiladelphiaFood #RestaurantHopping #FoodieDiary #PhiladelphiaLife #PhiladelphiaRestaurants #GoodFoodEvenWhenBusy #EveryStreetHasGoodEats #LocalFavorites #ThreeMealsADay #AuthenticFoodInTravel #TributeToThisMeal #PhiladelphiaWeekend #LocalFoodRecommendation #PhiladelphiaValentines #PhiladelphiaDate #PhiladelphiaDateRestaurants #PhiladelphiaBirthdayRestaurants #PhiladelphiaWesternCuisine #DateNightDining
